Centropa did not, unfortunately, find the financial support to carry out our interview program in Germany. Nevertheless, we did manage to interview seven German-born Jews, each of whom paint us a detailed picture of growing up in Berlin, Osterode (now in Poland), Frankfurt and in small towns elsewhere. Tanja Eckstein interviewed them for us–in Vienna and in Tel Aviv.
